ISLMA Conference Highsmith Award Presentation

Library Policies and Procedures

Ms. Hill's #1 Rule = Don't Annoy Ms. Hill! :)

The library is a place of learning. Absolute quiet is not necessary. Students who are not accompanied by a teacher will sit no more than two or three people per table. Whispering is allowed, but do not abuse this privilege. The student handbook will be enforced. Violation of the handbook may result in discipline and/or removal from the library at the librarian's discretion.

The Internet Acceptable Usage Policy will be strictly enforced in the library. Students who are not accompanied by a teacher will sign in and out of the library and must use a student pass or have a teacher’s pass to enter and leave. Color printer costs are 25 cents/page.

Fiction, nonfiction, old magazines, story collection, videos and audiobooks can be checked out for 4 weeks. Reference and current magazines may be checked out overnight. Items may be renewed. Fines are 10 cents a day. It is the student's responsibility to return materials on time.
